Find Your Friends

Find Your Friends (2026)

Find Your Friends aims to explore party culture, toxic friendships, and trauma through a group of young women on a desert getaway, but it never gave us a reason to care about the people at the center of the story. Despite strong performances and competent filmmaking, the characters felt more like strangers than friends, and the horror arrives far too late to overcome that disconnect. By the time the violence escalates, we were already checked out.

Why Watch Our Review

Amy did something she’s never done before on The Fear Review: she walked out. Not because of the horror, gore, or disturbing content, but because she couldn’t stand spending another minute with these characters. We discuss why the film’s portrayal of party culture never connected with us, whether intentionally unlikeable characters can still carry a movie, and why a story built around friendship struggles when the friendships themselves never feel real.
