Evil Dead Burn Digital Release Set for August 4

Evil Dead Burn has barely finished covering theater screens in blood, but the latest Deadite outbreak is already coming home.

Warner Bros. will release director Sébastien Vaniček’s Evil Dead Burn on Premium Digital platforms in the United States and Canada on August 4, 2026. The 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions will follow on September 22.

The Evil Dead Burn digital release arrives only 25 days after the movie opened in theaters on July 10, giving anyone who missed it a chance to experience the franchise’s latest round of demonic carnage much sooner than expected.

When Will Evil Dead Burn Be Available at Home?

Beginning August 4, Evil Dead Burn will be available to purchase or rent through participating digital retailers, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.

This is a Premium Digital release rather than a subscription streaming debut. Warner Bros. has not announced when the movie will become available on HBO Max, so viewers hoping to watch it through a monthly streaming subscription will still have to wait.

Fans who prefer physical media can pick up the movie on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, or DVD beginning September 22. The physical release gives the latest Evil Dead installment a permanent home for anyone building a franchise collection or simply preparing to make the movie part of their regular Halloween rotation

THE Evil Dead Burn DIGITAL RELEASE Includes Three Bonus Features

Both the digital and physical releases will include three behind the scenes features exploring how the filmmakers created the movie’s relentless Deadite mayhem.

Evil Dead: Blazing the Trail examines how Vaniček and his crew honored the previous movies while finding their own direction for the franchise. Rather than recreating one particular installment, Burn draws from the history of Evil Dead while pushing the violence, family conflict, and demonic cruelty into new territory.

The Hot Shot: Evil Dead Burn’s One Shot Sequence takes viewers inside one of the movie’s most technically ambitious sequences. The feature explores how the cast and crew worked together to execute the extended shot and keep the action moving without breaking its momentum.

This One’s Gonna Burn focuses on the stunt team and the work required to bring the movie’s violent action sequences to life. Considering how frequently the characters are thrown, slammed, cut, crushed, and generally put through hell, there should be plenty for the stunt team to discuss.

What Is Evil Dead Burn About?

Evil Dead Burn follows Alice, a grieving widow who travels to the secluded home of her late husband’s family. What begins as an already uncomfortable gathering becomes considerably worse when members of the family are transformed into Deadites.

The resulting nightmare forces Alice to confront both a supernatural evil and the toxic relationships that existed long before anyone became possessed. The Deadites do not simply attack the family physically. They exploit old resentments, guilt, and emotional wounds, turning the gathering into the family reunion from hell.

The film stars Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, Maude Davey, and Erroll Shand. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert returned as producers.

What We Think

This is exactly the kind of movie where the bonus features could be more than the usual collection of promotional material.

The practical effects, stunt work, and relentless action were among the biggest things that stood out during our review. William found the experience vicious, inventive, and exhausting in the best possible way. Amy enjoyed it too, but walked out of the theater completely spent after the movie refused to give her a moment to recover.

That makes the features covering the one shot sequence and the stunt work particularly interesting. Evil Dead Burn feels like a carefully constructed assault, and seeing how the filmmakers coordinated that chaos could provide an entirely different appreciation for what appears on screen.

Anyone who missed the theatrical release will be able to enter the latest Deadite nightmare beginning August 4. Just do not expect a relaxing movie night.
