Hallowarrior Trailer Sends Milly Shapiro Into a Halloween Apocalypse
The Hallowarrior trailer drops Milly Shapiro into a post-apocalyptic Halloween where surviving the end of the world may be easier than surviving the night. Shudder’s new original film premieres October 16.
The Hallowarrior trailer turns Halloween into a home invasion
Shapiro plays Pumpkin, the sole survivor of a humanity-ending plague who spends the eve of Halloween scavenging a wasteland for supplies. Her holiday ritual takes a much darker turn when a gang of raiders arrives at her doorstep, led by Thalia, played by Shannyn Sossamon.
The setup mixes post-apocalyptic survival with home-invasion horror while keeping Halloween at the center of the story. Pumpkin is outnumbered, but Shudder’s synopsis promises she will fight back with candy, wit and weapons.
Milly Shapiro returns to horror for Ben Sottak’s feature debut

The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in June after Shudder acquired distribution rights in North America, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Sottak’s previous narrative shorts have screened at genre festivals including Fantasia, FrightFest, Telluride Horror Show and Brooklyn Horror Film Festival.
Hallowarrior joins Shudder’s Season of Screams
