Faces of Death smartly avoids remaking the original shock documentary directly and instead transforms the concept into a modern serial killer thriller about viral violence, internet obsession, and the disturbing line between curiosity and exploitation. While the slower investigative story doesn’t always land, the movie delivers an unsettling atmosphere, a strong performance from Dacre Montgomery, and a finale that fully embraces its grim social commentary.
