Scream 7

Scream 7 (2026)

Scream 7 understands exactly what fans expect from the franchise and delivers another entertaining mix of mystery, brutal kills, suspense, and self-aware horror without betraying what makes Scream work. The return of Neve Campbell feels completely natural, the kill sequences are among the strongest in recent entries, and while the final motivation gets a little muddy, the movie still earns its place alongside the rest of the series.

Why Watch Our Review

We break down why Scream 7 feels like a true Scream movie from the very first scene, how Neve Campbell’s return restores a sense of continuity that was missing from the previous installment, and why both of us spent most of the movie second-guessing who Ghostface actually was. We also dive into the movie’s brutal standout kills, the return to a more suburban setting that feels closer to the original films, the killer reveal and motivation that left us debating the details all the way home, and why this may not reinvent the franchise but absolutely proves there is still plenty of life left in Woodsboro.
