Infested

Infested (2023)

Infested is one of the most effective creature-feature horror films in recent years, turning a simple fear of spiders into a relentless nightmare. By combining claustrophobic apartment-building horror, strong character work, and genuinely terrifying spider encounters, the film creates an experience that rarely lets viewers relax. Even when the spiders aren't on screen, the tension never disappears, making for a horror movie that is as emotionally exhausting as it is entertaining.

Why Watch Our Review

We discuss why Infested succeeds where so many creature features fail, how the film transforms an ordinary apartment building into a nightmare, and why the spiders feel frighteningly real throughout the entire movie. We also break down the escalating infestation, the strong relationships between the characters, the quarantine setup that traps everyone inside, the film’s excellent use of tension and jump scares, and why Amy spent most of the runtime convinced something was crawling on her.
