Bring Her Back

Bring Her Back (2025)

Bring Her Back is an unsettling, emotionally devastating horror film that uses grief as the foundation for every scare, every disturbing image, and every terrible decision its characters make. Rather than relying on constant shocks, the film slowly builds a sense of dread that becomes almost unbearable by the final act. The result is a deeply effective horror experience that's exceptionally well made, but also one of the most emotionally exhausting films we've watched.

Why Watch Our Review

We discuss why Bring Her Back feels less like a traditional horror movie and more like a descent into grief-fueled madness, how every major character is driven by loss in one form or another, and why the film’s disturbing imagery lingers long after the credits roll. We also break down the foster mother’s increasingly unsettling behavior, the supernatural ritual at the center of the story, the film’s most difficult-to-watch moments, the emotional bond between Andy and Piper, and why this is one of those rare horror films that’s easier to admire than it is to revisit.
